Transformatons of local names in Prague 6

14. Summary This Bachelor Thesis focuses on the names of streets and squares of Prague 6. In the first few chapters, the author describes the history of street naming in general from 1770 until 2013. Furthermore, the work addresses the main reasons for renaming streets in Prague 6, which are mostly based on historical and/or social events and changes in the scope of Prague territory. The central part of this thesis contains the current list of streets and squares of Prague 6 accompanied by information about particular name changes occuring during the 20th and 21st century. The total of 662 streets and squares is arranged in alphabetical order according to their affiliation to various parts of the Prague 6 municipality. Additionally, streets are classified by naming motivation into several categories, which further discuss the origin of the names and their lexical form. The results showed that the street names of Prague 6 are mostly in nominative or genitive form and the most common motivation for their naming follows from the street location. The research carried out by the means of questionnaires shows that the most popular unofficial name used in Prague 6 is "Kulaťák" (replacing the official name Vítězné náměstí). Besides, the questionnaire revealed a few dozens of other popular colloquial street names....

Mapping the implementation of school-based prevention of risk behaviour at elementary schools in Prague 6

Background: School prevention programs of risky behavior should be an important part of the education of children and adolescents. The programs are implemented by each school individually according to the elaborated Minimum Preventive Program (MPP) and their mediation and implementation is supervised by the school prevention methodologist (ŠMP). Within the Prague 6 City District, there is close cooperation between ŠMP, the prevention methodologist from the pedagogical- psychological counseling center and the drug coordinator. The aim of this cooperation is to ensure quality of prevention in local schools and in the wider community of the municipality. Objectives: The aim of the study is to map the process of implementation of programs of general school primary prevention of risky behavior in primary schools in the administrative district of Prague 6 in terms of performance of the function of the ŠMP, elaboration of MPP and implementation of preventive programs. Methods: A mixed-method design was used, combining a questionnaire study with ŠMP from the district of Prague 6 with a group discussion with six respondents who participated in the questionnaire study. Phenomenon of Forest Kindergarten: Case Study - Prague 6

The bachelor thesis deals with forest kindergartens, which represent an alternative to traditional kindergartens and can be seen as a new institutional phenomenon in pre-school education. The topic is grounded in the theoretical framework of time geography and mobility, with emphasis on the concept of constraints. Case study is carried out in the city district of Prague 6 compares the users (parents) of forest kindergartens and traditional kindergartens. It monitors the diversity of spatial daily mobility - commuting and different socio-demographic characteristics of users in both types of institutions. During field research the techniques used for data collection were semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. This case study confirmed differences between users, mainly in the willingness to commute further and their relationship to the environment. Methods: In the paper are used methods of structured interview and use of secondary information. Results: Primary Schools in Prague 6 effectively using their physical education facilities at a time when there are no lessons and offer it the people, but it is limited insufficient capacity or inadequate functionality of the physical education facilities. Fulfilling budget in specific conditions of the metropolitan district Prague 6

This master thesis deals with the characteristics of budgetary management of the municipalities. The thesis is divided into 2 parts. The theoretical part characterizes municipalities in the Czech Republic -- their legislative framework, scope and their institutions and analyzes the accounting transformation which is valid from 1st January 2010 for local government units. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of incomes and expenditures of Prague 6 and the fulfilling of its budget in the timeline 2006-2009.
